Lake Worth Beach, FL, June 17, 2021 – “Jason, Deana, and the entire team at I.T. Solutions, congratulations on the 2021 Small Business of the Year award from the North Palm Beach Chamber.”
And with that announcement onscreen from Cary Stamp, founder of Cary Stamp & Co, the group of six people at the I.T. Solutions of South Florida table erupted in applause, fist pumps and smiles! Company CEO and cofounder Deana Pizzo took the stage to accept the award, presented by Professional Bank.
Pizzo expressed her gratitude for the 2021 Small Business of the Year award to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and the local community. She also took the opportunity in front of the packed room at the Pelican Club to thank her dedicated team at I.T. Solutions of South Florida.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without my wonderful staff. The team makes us who we are,” she said. Her husband and CIO Jason Pizzo nodded enthusiastically in agreement.
Deana and Jason Pizzo founded I.T. Solutions of South Florida together in their living room in 2004. Since then, the couple has grown the technology company into an award-winning managed service provider. The Pizzos also place an emphasis on giving back to the local community where they both were raised. In addition to sitting on the board of several important South Florida nonprofits, they are Executive Trustee Council Members of the Palm Beach North Chamber.
The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Leadership Awards honor outstanding leaders and businesses making an impact in the Palm Beach North community. According to the chamber, to be considered for the Small Business of the Year award, a company must have fewer than 26 employees and “exhibit exemplary customer service, commitment to the community, a successful response to adversity, and provides innovative products and/or services.”
