Lake Worth, FL, August 7, 2020 – I.T. Solutions of South Florida CEO Deana Pizzo is one of the just 55 select leaders in the entire state invited by the Leadership Florida Selection Committee to join the 39th Cornerstone Class program next year!
“I am honored to be selected to embark on Leadership Florida! The program roster contains an impressive list of distinguished business and community leaders throughout the state and I’m humbled to be part of such an esteemed group,” Deana said.
The Cornerstone Class program is an intensive nine-month learning program that kicks off in January and consists of a series of multi-day sessions held in cities throughout the state. According to the Leadership Florida website, “these sessions include programming on issues critical to Florida, refining well-developed leadership skills via sessions with leading experts, and relevant information on Florida’s history, demography, diversities, challenges, and opportunities.”
Leadership Florida brings together a host of leaders from around the state from various professions, philosophies, ethnicities, and geographical areas within Florida. The common thread for all Leadership program alumni is a commitment to their local community through service.
Deana first learned about Leadership Florida when she was accepted into the countywide Leadership class. She is a 2014 Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) Alumna and has remained active within the nonprofit organization ever since. Deana invested in LPBC as a Community Partner and served in a leadership role on various committees. Most recently, she was elected to the Board of Governors for Leadership Palm Beach County.
“I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of Leadership Palm Beach County and I welcome the opportunity to be a catalyst for our continued growth and success in our community and our state as a future graduate of Leadership Florida,” Deana said.
