West Palm Beach, FL – March 2019 – Hundreds of businesses throughout South Florida vied for the honor of being named one of the “2019 Best Places To Work” by the South Florida Business Journal. A select few made the cut and I.T. Solutions of South Florida won the 10th spot among small businesses!
“Earning the ‘2019 Best Places To Work’ award is an important achievement for us and it comes at a great time – we are celebrating our 15th anniversary as a company! We owe our success to our amazing clients and wonderful team,” said Deana Pizzo, CEO of I.T. Solutions of South Florida.
The award is bestowed on businesses that excel in providing an enjoyable and rewarding work environment. The corporate culture at I.T. Solutions of South Florida includes a generous work from home policy, weekly Thirsty Thursday celebrations and a nap room, which is used daily.
“You spend more waking hours with your coworkers than you do with your own family. So, we want to foster a fun atmosphere and make sure our employees know that they are appreciated every single day,” Pizzo said.
Winners were selected based on an anonymous survey of employees administered by Quantum Workplace. According to The South Florida Business Journal, the survey evaluated, Trust in Leadership, Individual Needs, Manager Effectiveness, Personal Engagement, Team Dynamics, and Communication and Resources.
Companies learned they were among the “Best Places to Work” honorees in January. However, the honorees had to wait until the awards luncheon in late February for the official ranking. About 550 guests gathered at the Signature Grand in Davie for the high-energy awards ceremony.
The “2019 Best Places To Work” Award is available to companies in Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Honorees are divided into three categories based on size: Small Companies of 10 – 49 employees; Medium Companies of 49 – 99 employees; and Large Companies of 100 or more employees. Roughly fifteen honorees are selected in each category and I.T. Solutions of South Florida secured the 10th position among small companies.
